RULES
BIG BASS TOURNAMENT

1. Rules

  1. First Natural Convenience shall administer and enforce the rules.

  2. First Natural Convenience shall interpret if the rules were violated.

  3. Once registered, participants can pick up their registration “package” at First Natural Convenience. Registration “package” includes a numbered badge to identify each participant, a measuring tape, and the first 100 registrants will receive a free t-shirt.

  4. Participation is individual, there is no team division.

  5. This is a catch & release tournament, keeping your catch is not required.

  6. Only bass will be accepted for submission.

  7. All fishing zones in Miramichi are allowed.

  8. Fishing can be done on boat or shore.

  9. Submissions of participants fish must be uploaded to the “Big Bass Entry Form” at firstnaturalconvenience.com/enter-your-catch. Submissions must include a photo containing the participants ID badge, and their catch next to the measuring tape, demonstrating the length of their catch.

  10. The deadline for submissions is May 20, 2023, at 6PM.

  11. Only bass caught by registered participants may be submitted – participants found using fish caught by someone else will be disqualified.

  12. Unless otherwise noted, failure to abide by the rules will result in disqualification.

  13. Disqualification from the tournament also disqualifies the participant from any prizes and entry fees paid to First Natural Convenience will not be returned to any participant.

2. Eligibility

  1. Those aged 15 & under must register for the junior division.

  2. All others must register for the adult division.

  3. Only registrants before May 10, 2023, are eligible for the “Early Bird Raffle Draw” for a chance to win a 75” TV.

  4. Only registered participants may collect cash and prizes, registration must be completed on or before May 20, 2023.

3. Regulations

  1. All federal, provincial, coast guard, angling and boating regulations must be adhered to. 

  2. It is the responsibility of the angler to know all the regulations and to obtain all angling licenses and related permits.
